Most of his swimming career, he competed for the Michiana Marlins in South Bend, Indiana. In Indiana, Patrick won a state championship in the 500 freestyle as a high school sophomore. In two years at North Allegheny and ANSC, Patrick won the state championship in the 500 freestyle and led the Tigers’ Men’s Team to a championship in 1994. He still holds the school record in the 500 freestyle at North Allegheny, and is part of two record-holding relay teams. 
Patrick continued  his education and swimming career at Ohio State University (OSU) where he set three OSU records in his freshman year.  Patrick was named team captain during his junior season, and won the Steve Skilken Spirit of  Giving Award. Every year of his college career, he earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. In 1996, Patrick qualified for the Olympic Trials. He was ranked in the Top 16  and was ranked 51st in the world for the 1500 meter freestyle. He began his coaching career developing athletes at swim camps at OSU and the University of Michigan. During the summer of 2003, Patrick coached the senior group for ANSC, and has been an assistant for North Allegheny High School Tigers Swim Team. 
Patrick holds Level 2 certification from ASCA. He has been an AMS Eastern Zone Team coach for the last two years.  Patrick was inducted into the North Allegheny Hall of Fame in 2006.  During 2007, Patrick coached a swimmer who qualified for Junior National Championships in Indianapolis.

 Kirk Semler ("Corky") began his swimming career in the Eastgate Swimming Pool in the early 1960s.  He then joined Greater Pittsburgh Swim Club and trained under coaching legend, Dick Bowen.  In 1970, while swimming for Gateway High School, he was on a 200 medley relay with a state record time and top 5 national finish.
At Kent State University, Corky earned all MAC conference honors with an NCAA Division I qualifying berth his senior year.  In 1989, Corky began teaching and coaching swimming at North Allegheny. Over the past three decades, Corky has had 110 swimmers and divers who have attained All American status.  NA teams have won over 500 dual meets, 48 section championships, 15 WPIAL championships, 14 WPIAL runner ups, 7 PIAA Championships and 6 PIAA 2nd place teams.  Coach Semler's teams have finished in the top 6 nationally numerous times in the dual meet ranking and won a National title with the 1985 girls team.

Steve DiLorenzo (Age Group Coach)

Steve grew up swimming for Long Island Aquatic Club in New York. 4-year letter winner at Archbishop Molloy H.S. in Queens, NY. All-American and State Champion 2000 and 2001. Attended Washington University in St. Louis. Swam 4 years, All-Conference 2002, 2004, 2005 and team captain 2005. Graduated May 2005 with a B.S. in Physics. Coached Archbishop Molloy H.S. boys and girls varsity swimming for the 2006 season. Currently attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Text Box: Eric Fleming (Age Group Coach)
Eric began his swimming career at the age of five with the Butler YMCA. At the age of fourteen, he began swimming with the Hampton Dolphins where he received several awards and held records in the butterfly and freestyle events. Eric was a member of the Knoch High School Swim Team, and qualified for the Pennsylvania State Championships. He finished his swimming career at Gannon University at the age of 20. Eric has been coaching for ANSC since the 2004-2005 season. He also is a full-time Sales Manager with FourM Consulting, Inc. in Wexford.
 
 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

         

Text Box: Brittany Jardine (Age Group Coach) 
Brittany began swimming with ANSC at age 5.   She continued swimming for the club and became a member of the North Allegheny Tigers where she was an All-American, WPIAL and PIAA qualifier, and a member of a state championship team.  She finished her career at Westminster College where she was an NCAA qualifier, Academic All-American, Varsity Record Holder, Team Captain, and a Marge Walker Award Recipient.  Brittany is entering her fourth year of coaching, and looks forward to working with athletes from ANSC.

Stacie Sloan (Age Group Coach)
Stacie began swimming with ANSC at the age of 5, and continued with the club until she became a member of the North Allegheny Tigers. She was a part of the 1997 WPIAL and State championship team. She also became an All-American as well as being a part of a pool relay record. Stacie has been coaching for ANSC since May 2005.
